Letter from Peace Corps Regarding Medical Clearance

Got a letter thanking me for submitting all my medical and dental information to the Office of Medical Services. I have been medically and dentally qualified for Peace Corps service.

My application will NOW be considered by the Office of Placement...

Hopefully I will hear back soon. The waiting and having to deal with work is taking a toll on me.

Phone Call from Peace Corps

I got a phonecall from a Placement assistant saying that my Placement Officer received my msg. He will be getting in touch with me in the near future. They told me that I needed to be medically cleared before they would review my file. Two updates in one day...things must be moving along for me.

Received Medical Clearance

I got an email this morning saying that my application status had been updated. I am now medically cleared to serve in the Peace Corps. There are no holds on my application at this time. The only left to do now is to wait for an invite...that is, IF I am invited...

Trying to Contact My Placement Officer

I still haven't heard anything from the Peace Corps so I tried contacting my Placement Officer. I got the information regarding who my placement officer was from the medical office when I called to check up on my medical packet. I tried using his first initial and last name @peacecorps.gov, but the email bounced back. I then called his direct extension and it turns out he at away at some Peace Corps conference until next Monday the 20th. I left him a msg...

Letter from the Peace Corps Regarding Dental Clearance

I got a letter in the mail today from the Peace Corps. It was to let me know that I am dentally cleared to serve in the Peace Corps. They are really starting to piss me off now. I've known I was dentally cleared for over a week now. Seems like they changed their letterhead for their 45th anniversary though...
